The Inspection
A complete home inspection in Georgia takes about two to four hours and includes a visual examination of the house from top to bottom. The inspector examines the heating system, central air conditioning system, interior plumbing, electrical systems, roof, visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors, foundation, basement and visible structure.
The American Society of Home Inspectors, founded in 1976, is the oldest and leading national non-profit professional organization of home inspectors in the U.S. Membership in ASHI is limited to inspectors who have met rigorous professional and educational requirements through testing and a membership review process. All members and candidates are required to follow the ASHI® Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
The Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors is comprised of members and candidate members located in the metro Atlanta area, and throughout Georgia. We are your source for home inspections in Georgia, GA.
